Technical Features

• Positive Tubular Plates: pressure cast from high tin /
  low calcium alloy. Highly porous gauntlets prevents the
  loss of active material during operation, resulting in longer
  operating life.
• Negative Flat Plates: rugged pasted grid construction
  with a service life compatible with the positive plates.
  The alloy and curing process are designed to maintain the
  porosity of the active material during operation.
• Electrolyte: immobilized in gel structure.
• Separators: made with a high porosity / low resistance
  material for high effi ciency and low self discharge rates.
• Container and Cover: made of opaque ABS plastics
  (Optional fl ame retardant ABS IEC 707 FV0 and UL 94 V0
  with LOI greater than 28% available). Thick walled
  containers provide unsurpassed mechanical strength
• Terminals: female threaded M10 terminal posts provide
  high conductivity, retain required torque values and allow
  for easy installation.
• Post Seals: high integrity post seal design prevents
  electrolyte leakage and terminal corrosion.
• One-way safety valves allow excess gas to escape when
  overcharging
• Flame arrestors designed to prevent any errant spark or
  fl ame from entering the cell.
• Cable connectors are fl exible and fully insulated, with an
  insulated screw which allows for meter probe access
• Shelf life: < 2% self-discharge per month at 77°F allows
  6 months shelf life before boosting is required
• Installation: can be operated in the vertical or inclined
  horizontal orientation
