Fiamm FG20722

The Fiamm FG20722 is a 12V 7Ah battery block with a 5 year lifespan and is suitable for fast discharge applications where a high power source is required when mains power is not available. To meet this requirement, the FG20722 battery is equipped with a 6.3mm wide ‘F2’ type plug-in terminal that allows higher current draw than a standard 4.8mm ‘F1’ terminal device. It is this feature that can lend this battery to applications such as UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), where a rapid discharge of the battery is required to ensure that the electrical load is supported.

The high quality battery ensures that no electrolyte leakages occurs from the case or terminals. This battery is almost maintenance free with the perfectly sealed construction and the recombination of gases within the cell. This battery series uses a unique electrolyte suspension system incorporating a microfine glass mat (AGM) to retain the maximum amount of electrolyte in the cells.

Note

Do not discharge batteries deeply. The emptier they get, the faster they deteriorate. Preferably charge 6v batteries before they drop below 6V and 12V before they drop below 12V. Deep cycles can be discharged a little further, 5.8V and 11.6V. Recharge a battery as soon as possible if it starts to become noticeably less full.
