Fiamm FG20722

The Fiamm FG20722 is a 12V 7Ah battery bloc offering a 5 year design life and is suitable for fast rate discharge applications where a high current power source is required when mains is not available. To meet this requirement the FG20722 battery is equipped with a 6.3mm wide ‘F2’ type faston terminal allowing a higher current draw than a standard 4.8mm ‘F1’ terminal arrangement. It is this feature that can lend this battery to applications such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) where rapid discharge of the battery is necessary to ensure the electrical load is supported.

Amongst its many features the Fiamm FG20722 boasts a strong ABS plastic case material with a sealed, maintenance free design making this product an ideal rechargeable battery solution for a wide range of equipment.

Questions & answers

The FG20721 and the FG20722 look very similar, what is the difference?

The FG20722 has a wider faston tab connecter at 6.3mm wide, known as an F2 tab, this makes it particularly suitable for high discharge applications such as UPS systems, as it allows for a higher current to be able to pass through the terminal. The FG20721 has a narrow faston tab connector at 4.85mm wide, known as an F1 tab, this type has the benefit of being suitable for all faston battery connectors.

Will this battery arrive to me fully charged?

The battery will in 90-95% state of charge approximately, we recommend charging before use if possible. It is important to always use a dedicated lead acid battery charger with this product.

Can this product be operated on its side?

Yes, the FG20722 is a sealed product and can be operated on its side.
