Flame retardant ABS plastic to UL94 V0 (LOI greater than 28%) and a special lead calcium tin alloy thick grid are made to meet requirements for long life and the highest levels of safety.Because the design is non-spillable, maintenance-free, and uses proven VRLA technology with a 99 percent internal recombination efficiency, it won’t need to be topped off with electrolyte during its lifetime.

The SLA series is completely recyclable and non-hazardous for transportation by air, sea, rail, and road. The design has been refined to reduce self-discharge, ensuring a lengthy shelf life.
